It's been too long since my last update on this blog! I've been working on custom ordered paintings, my 100 tiny brushstrokes project and some new welcome new baby cards! Plus enjoying a bit of summer as I hope you have as well!

I did a painting for a little baby girl in Seattle, whose room decor looked like this:

I loved the bold colours and feature decal they chose. I thought that I would tie in the colours of the room but emphasize the pink as the background of the painting to bring out the little pink details of the decal. Her parents were calling her their little Cub, as in lion cub - so that image was to be included in the painting. Here is the painting:
