This painting was created as a wedding gift for a couple who live in Australia. The bride is from the Ottawa Valley and the concept was a landscape that alluded to the Ottawa River which her childhood home overlooked. To incorporate their love of sports, a winter season with the couple skating fades into the summer, where 2 kayaks are docked on the shore.
