Happy New Year!

Happy New Year - I'm back in business!

I have a new studio arrangement which I really like although in the tiny space I work in, there is never to much to re-arrange! But I am happy with what I've come up with. The new set up will likely be usefull for some of the new products I plan to introduce in 2010! In the meantime, I have a lot of new work to post on flickr, sooo behind in updating! 

For now, here are my Favourite 9 Projects of 2009: (in no particular order...)

1. the Trick or Treat painting created for Halloween bags! Proceeds went to Unicef - I raised $250!   

2. the Custom Image for After the Harvest. I created this image for my sister's blog http://aftertheharvest.blogspot.com/ I was very pleased with the result & am happy to hear that it is getting a great response!  

3. my first picture book A-Z Organically! I had a great time making it and it inspired me to make another book! and co-ordinating colouring book...coming SOON!

4. the Custom Rocking Chair I painted recently for little Amara. A satisfying project to turn a plain wooden rocking chair into a cute piece for her to grow up with.

5. my Illustrated Map paintings! they are colourful + imaginative which is why they are so great to have as kids' art - they can grow with them! I also had fun painting the large BlaBla Family Portrait, it was so fun painting those characters. Am hoping the family who has it loves it!

 6. the variety of Custom Painting Orders this year; the custom wedding gift paintings, the Heagney family painting, of course the cute personalized paintings for new babies & the yummy cupcake painting.

8. the Tea Party Painting I created for the Exhibitors Contest at the OOAK show. A cute representation on the theme of teapot! 

9. the craft shows I participated in this year + the wonderful vendors + customers I met at the Childrens Trunk Show, the Hoopla Show & the One of a Kind Show!
