black + white wedding

Another order from May was a custom set of hand painted coasters to serve as a wedding shower gift. I used to make these coasters on a regular basis but now I will just do them on special request. 


The theme for the coasters was a bit of their engagement story & to reflect their upcoming wedding day. The wedding was a black + white, classic theme... think: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany's, New York City, etc.

The set of 8 coasters - black, white, grey, aqua & a hint of red.

They got engaged skating at Rockefeller Centre in NYC. 

The ring was from Tiffany's, included their wedding date on intertwined rings.

A flower for the wedding day & the bride + groom's initials. 

A little representation of the wedding apparel - a simple suit & high heels.
